- Acquire and apply a range of physical skills
- Are physically active for sustained periods of time
- Develop positive attitudes towards sport and competition
- Are encouraged to participate in extra-curricular sporting opportunities
Our aim is to ensure all pupils leave primary school as confident, active individuals who understand the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

- Participation in competitive events and festivals fosters teamwork, resilience and sportsmanship
- Opportunities to collaborate across year groups help build positive relationships and a strong sense of community
Impact

- Develop teamwork, resilience and leadership skills
- Understand the importance of health, fitness and wellbeing
- Demonstrate respect, fairness and sportsmanship in competitive situations
By the end of their time at Chapel Hill, pupils will have experienced a wide variety of physical activities and will be motivated to continue leading active, healthy lives. They will be well-prepared for Key Stage 3 and beyond, with the confidence and enthusiasm to succeed in sport and physical activity.
